The Complete Experience

Day group kayaking trips start at 9:15 and finish at about 3pm. They include 2 stops where we swim, snorkel, relax and have a snack and picnic. Trips are chosen in relation to the wind and its shelter from it, most often we paddle in the bay of Naousa or around the Northern peninsulas of the island when blowing South wind. On our trips you can experience sandy beaches, small islands we kayak to, rock formations, clear blue water and traditional cycladic chappels.

Meet at the Beach

Meet your guide at the beach and receive all the paddling and safety equipment. You are then briefed on how to use the equipment, trip planning and all about proper and safe paddling techniques. We then start our trip and immediately get drawn by the exploratory nature of sea kayaking.

Exploration

Throughout the trip your guide will share with you local historical and cultural information as well as paddling tips and facts about the Parian marine environment. We will explore granite and limestone coastlines that are part of a locally managed environmental park and come across small beaches that have no road but only hiking access.

Trip Variations

Depending on the wind conditions and your trip variation we may continue on a more remote coastline with cliffs and impressive rock formations that come across a picturesque lighthouse which we will visit and could even try cliff jumping. A different option is to paddle downwind with the help of the waves pushing and surfing to reach the crystal clear waters of Kolimpithres beach and end up on a small island with a Greek chapel for a well deserved break.

Breaks, Food & Snorkeling

We will make 2 stops throughout the trip to rest, swim and snorkel. On the first and second stop we will offer you a snack and picnic of local products. After your well deserved breaks and with replenished energy levels we will resume our paddle back to where we started, and like that finish your activity with a sweet tiredness and satisfaction of accomplishment. A high value afternoon well spent in the outdoors.
