Having the Aegean sea at your feet and with so much coastline surrounding the island it is only natural to have a significant number of different water activities available. You can find water sports centers where you can water ski, wake board, wake surf or have fun being towed by a speedboat on inflatable toys in Ntrl High water sports center at Monastiri beach - Ai Gianis Detis or at Water Ski Zone in Kolimpithres beach.

Paros has hosted World Championships in both wind surfing and kite boarding. Wind surf schools and rentals are available in Golden Beach at Force 7 wind surf station or the Golden Beach Windsurfing School or Paros Surf Club at New Golden Beach. If you'd like to try Kite boarding you should head to Punda (where the boat to Antiparos leaves) and visit either Paros Kite pro center or Paros Kite center
The crystal clear waters of the Aegean sea invite for underwater explorations. SCUBA diving centers offer beginner courses as well as more advanced dives in deeper waters, caves and shipwrecks for experienced divers, look at Cycladic divingBlue Island Divers, Paros Scuba club, and Euro divers.

Horse riding can also be a unique experience, try it out at Thanassis farm or Kokou horse riding centers in the vicinity of Ampelas village.

Try out awarded local wine at Moraitis winery.
Visit the cave in Antiparos and witness beautiful rock sculptures and the creativity nature possess.
Remnants of ancient times where people have lived and created rich cultural history can be found all over Paros and Antiparos. Just to name few and starting with the most important archaeological site is the ruins found in Despotiko island, just off the southern part of Antiparos, where a small town is currently under excavation (Despotiko is part of a couple of our day-trips). Also the ancient queries in Marathi, from where the marbles to built the Parthenon in Athens were excavated. The ancient cemetery in Paroikia port, the Byzantine church of Ekatontapuliani (100 doors church) in Paroikia, the old town-castle of Antiparos village, the picturesque villages of Lefkes and Marpissa...

Food is of high quality as well. Fish taverns by the seaside offering what they fished earlier in their fishing boat, meat taverns, restaurants with very skilled chefs and abundance of exciting tastes, small taverns with local food and vegetarian suitable options, taverns with live music, the traditional souvlaki places, generally food for all preferences and budgets. In Greece food is an important issue and there are just so many options we can't go through with suggestions, you'll have to ask us where to go when you'll be here!
